About Amy-Jill Levine
Our speaker is internationally renowned New Testament scholar, Prof. Amy-Jill Levine (Hartford International University for Religion & Peace), whose work has often focused on the Jewish context of the Gospels. Prof. Levine is a prolific author, a gifted teacher, and highly esteemed in circles of interreligious dialogue. She is a member of an Orthodox Jewish community in Nashville, Tennessee. With Marc Zvi Brettler, she is co-editor of The Jewish Annotated New Testament (OUP, 2011, 2017), a remarkable work of scholarly Jewish outreach to Christian audiences.
