Rabbi Michael Marmur joins us to speak of his newly published book, “Living the Letters An Alphabet of Emerging Jewish Thought.”
Michael Marmur is a Reform rabbi based in Jerusalem, where he is Professor of Jewish Theology at the Hebrew Union College. He was previously Dean of the Jerusalem School and Provost of the College. Michael is a former board chair of Rabbis for Human Rights, a group best known for aiding West Bank Palestinians.
Rabbi Michael Marmur, is a longtime friend of Bat Kol. He has been involved with the Bat Kol Institute since its early years as a Lecturer and was a member of the International Board of the Bat Kol Institute.
Michael Marmur is an accomplished author. His previous work includes “Abraham Joshua Heschel and the Sources of Wonder” (2016) and he is a editor or contributor to many publications.
